From an Eastern Washington Estate Sale In the 1940's Sasha Brastoff was a well known for his ceramics. He had his own studio in California and employed more than 50 people. One of the employees was Matthew Adams who later was allowed to produce the Brastoff's designs. In the mid 1950's The Alaska Tourist Board asked Brastoff to create a line of ceramics with an Alaska theme for selling as souvenirs. They were signed Sasha Brastoff, and were shipped to Juneau Alaska for selling. When Matthew Adams produced his own works he started signing his name as well...
