Mattel Barbie Collector Gloria Estefan Doll Head Barbie Celebrity Friend

Description: In this listing we have a really stunning Barbie doll. This doll head was released by Mattel as part of the Barbie Collector line and is designed to look like the iconic singer Gloria Estefan. I think this is a custom face mold for her and they did a really great job with the likeness. She has two toned brown and auburn hair that is pulled to the side in the front with curled ends, brown eyes, and red lips. She will come with her original gold plastic hoop earrings that are embedded in her ears. This doll head was made in Indonesia. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors are a bit more muted in person. This doll head is in good shape. It has never been played with and was just removed from the box. It does have some small issues. The doll’s hair is in good shape. It’s still in the original factory style. It did get a little mussed from taking it out of the box and it was a little messy in the box. It could use some styling help, just a little work, mostly on the ends. Along the doll’s hairline at the forehead there is a small loop of hair. It looks like a piece of hair was rooted in twice along the hairline creating a loop. The doll’s face paint is really nice. The doll’s right eyebrow is more arched compared to the left brow, but I think that’s intentional. There are some small paint flaws to the eye when looking closely at it, but they are really minor. The doll’s lips look really nice without any obvious issues. The doll’s neck rim looks good. There is some excess plastic along the inside of the neck rim. It looks to just be a cosmetic issue, but I would be careful with the neck rim in those spots in case it’s a weak spot in the vinyl. The doll’s earrings are in nice shape. They do have seam lines with some excess plastic along the seam lines. They do have a bur on the post that keeps them locked in the doll’s head. It will be tricky to remove them without damaging them or the head. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll head and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
