This is a Vintage Thermos Industries Mattel "Big Jim" Plastic Lunchbox and Matching Plastic Thermos that is in fair to good condition. Please take a look at the many photos for more detail. This is dated 1972 Mattel Inc. The lunchbox has a broken latch and will not close. There is also some scrapes along the top of the rim. The graphic in the front has wear to the word "Big Jim" The back graphic looks better and is "puffy" where the football player Jim is pictured. There is wear along the edges, top and sides to the box. Inside the box it is mostly clean with and old name sticker there. The thermos is in good shape with wear on the graphic in the front as pictured as a scrape where the football player Jim is. There is some staining on the inside of the thermos but clean overall. Cap and stopper are in good shape. Overall this would make a welcome addition to your Vintage Big Jim or Lunchbox Collection!! This is SOLD AS-IS.
