Description: For your consideration is this very collectible vintage spinning reel. Made during the 1950's by Airex Corporation, a Division of Lionel Corp. This example is one of the earliest spinning reels made in the USA. It has remarkable engineering, and quality workmanship. It would benefit from a fresh internal cleaning and lube job, if you want to catch fish with it. There is a button on the left side, with 3 positions. I don't think it's working quite right. I have not opened it up to investigate. That being said, I'm selling it as is, for parts or repair. Look over my photos to evaluate the cosmetics. Ask any questions you may have.
