Description: For sale is a wonderful impressionist landscape painting by the highly regarded Medford, Massachusetts artist Pasquale D’Orsi (1903 - 1982) Pasquale D’Orsi painted almost exclusively around Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont This painting looks like it could easily be a Vermont barn scene. But of course these classic American red barns were throughout Massachusetts as well. So perhaps it is more closer to his hometown of Medford but we don’t know for sure. It features a classic tall American red barn with feed silo set in a very colorful impressionist landscape. A well worn dirt path with an old dilapidated wooden fence surrounded on each side by tall trees from the lush green fields leads up to the barn area. The red top of the barns copula rises high into the blue sky. The brush strokes are very impressionist in the colors are vivid and bright throughout. A wonderful barn seen by this well collected Massachusetts artist. The painting is signed by the artist in the lower left as well as in full on the reverse.
