Description: This is a nice glass eye Mason decoy painted as a Redhead drake from the Mason Factory (1896-1924), Detroit, Michigan. The decoy has seen wear and tear, (retriever training from the bill damage?), probably from many excursions. The patina on the decoy makes for an intriguing story. It needs a good home. The paint seems to be well preserved but also well worn. The body and paint are scuffed and worn. It includes some wood losses on the bill, the top of the head, and generally.
