Description: Akim Israel/ Sotheby's Auction Catalog, 1995. In 1993, Akim Israel (The National Association for the Habilitation of the Mentally Handicapped) organized a workshop with handicapped people from the Tel-Aviv area with the objective of creating a clay mask. A minimalist mask was chosen, duplicated in white clay, and sent to 200 famous personalities throughout the world. They were asked to decorate the masks and return them to Akim for auction. This is the auction catalog. The text is in both Hebrew and English languages. The catalog is in Fine condition and includes an invitation to the auction which took place January 29, 1995.
