Made to the exact standards as used from 1954 to 1969 along this historic highway. Highway 465 was what is now simply called Herald Harbor Road, running between Herald Harbor and Crownsville. The road was turned over to local control in 1969 and has not had a numbered designation since. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped. They were all removed when the road was dropped from the Maryland state rolls. It is likely that few still survive to the present day. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without paying a small fortune on the collector's market. The sign is 12 by 10 inches, and weighs 3 lb. 1 oz. This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality.
