Description: This item is part of a comic book collection, acquired in the 1960s and 1970s. The comics were for the most part, purchased from a comic book store. The Conan series was the initial reason for purchasing the comics. However, the comic storeowner asked if there was the interest in other comics and if she could put them aside for purchase. Thus, the collection grew. The comics have not been owned by anyone else and many have never been read. We are now selling these through Ebay and hope that they will enhance someone's collection. If you purchase more than one comic from us, we would be happy to consolidate your shipment to reduce costs for Shipping and Handling. The maximum number comics that can be shipped safely is 4, provided that the thickness of the item(s) allows, in the flat rate priority envelope. For 5-20 comics, the shipping cost in a Medium Flat Rate Priority box is $14.50 USPS. Please purchase your desired comics. I will combine the shipping cost and I will refund you the difference for the shipping cost. Issue DetailsCover by Gil Kane and Pablo Marcos. "In the Power of the Piranha!" Speculation has it that In June 1977, Marvel Comics wanted to test the market to see if comic buyers would accept a five cent price increase. Marvel released a 35 cent variant for every 30 cent comic they produced from June to Oct. 1977. This was a total of 184 different comics. These 35 cent variants were printed in much smaller numbers than the normal 30 cent counterpart and were believed to have been shipped to only six distribution locations to be sold in those specific areas.Cover Details - "He's Back!
