Marvel Treasury Edition #18 (1978) Astonishing Spider-Man Whitman variant

Description: From 1978: Marvel Treasury Edition #18 sports a cover penciled by Bob Budiansky and inked by Ernie Chan, inspired by the Paul McCartney album cover for Band on the Run. Inside are reprints from Marvel Team-Up issues #4, #12, #15 and #31, featuring Spider-Man team-ups with the X-Men, Morbius, Ghost Rider, Werewolf by Night and Iron Fist. This is the Whitman variant cover. This comic is complete in Fine condition. Both staples are intact, free from rust, and are holding all interior pages together. This Treasury-sized comic is square bound, with the glue from the time of its original printing still holding the cardboard covers and the interior pages together. There is no water damage. No spine splits. There is tanning of the interior covers, as is common with these cardboard-covered Treasury editions. At the lower right-hand corner and upper right-hand corner of the front cover are small color-breaking creases, which show up prominently given the black background cover. Similarly, there is a thin reading crease along the spine that should be visible on the front cover picture.
