Description: Up for sale is a previously owned Martha Carey's The Herd elephant sculpture that I got as part of a huge collection, that I was able to rescue from a shotty, second rate estate sale. Unfortunately, by the time I was able to purchase the collection, the delicate figures had already been jostled around and excessively handled. As a result this particular piece, "Drum" #3125 (4 1/2" tall x 5 1/4" long) does have a few areas where his paint has flaked off: left knee (photo #3), right foot (photo #4), & his trunk (photos #4 & #5). There is also some damage to the felt on the underside of his base (photos #8 & #9). Lot includes the elephant's story stone & collectible booklet (photo #1).
