Description: AN IMPRESSIVE NORWEGIAN SILVER ARTS AND CRAFTS PERIOD BOWL BY MARIUS HAMMER. It is 16.5cm in diameter. It stands 10cm tall. Weight is a substantial 359 grams or approx 11.55ozt of 830 grade solid silver. The deep circular bowl with panel decoration. Raised on a pedestal foot with pineapple scale decoration and beaded bottom rim. Marked - 'M Hammer 830'. The bowl is not dated but would date from the turn of the twentieth century. In very good and clean condition without damage or fault. A splendid example of the work of this highly regarded silversmith. My antique silverware can be purchased with complete confidence.
