Description: MARIE OSMOND Miracle Children TRACI Porcelain Doll C13113 SIGN LANGUAGE DEAF - This Marie Osmond doll is just gorgeous. She is in excellent, near mint condition. She is all porcelain and is part of Marie's Miracle Children series. Her name is Traci and was named after Marie's cousin who is deaf. You may know that Marie Osmond's two oldest brothers, Tom and Virl, are alsodeaf, and her family originally started performing to raise enough money to purchase hearing aids for them. From that, the Osmond Foundation was created to help the hearing impaired, and eventually it became the Children's Miracle Network, which raises money to help children in children's hospitals throughout the country. Traci was issued in1994 as a Limited Edition and is signed and numbered on the back of her neck with 18222/20000 - see last pic. There is a smudge over the last couple of numbers. It appears as though the ink was not dry when someone touched it after numbering it. It was like this when purchased. With her right hand, she is signing "I love you!" in sign language. Her blue eyes are just mesmerizing. She is 11 inches tall. She is wearing a pink satin headband, a two-layer pink floral dress with netting under dress, pink bloomers, tights, and matching pink shoes with pearl accents. She comes with the stand. The elastic in pink headband is loose so the headband doesn't fit super tight. I no longer have the box or paperwork. She has been very well cared for out of sunlight and kept in a display cabinet. Traci will display very, very well.
