Marie Hübnerová , née Marie Rufferová ( 1865 - 1931) was an outstanding Czech actress from the early 20th century .After her father's death she was raised in a German monastery in Brno , in 1882 she went to Košner's theater company. From 1887 to Theater F. Louis. In the season 1891 / 1892 was engaged at the National Theater in Brno . At the end of the year, the director of the theater, Václav Hübner, went to his own newly created theater company Czech People's Theater in the Country. After the death of Hübner's wife Anna (1861–1891), she married him on February 11, 1893 in Uherské Hradiště . Until 1893 she used the pseudonym Slatinská in the theater .In February 1896 she was admitted to the National Theater in Prague where she remained until her death. She has created over 370 roles, some of them repeatedly (Marta in Goethe 's Faust , Fanka in Čapek's Robbery and Klásková in Jirásek's Lucerna ).She often appeared in other Czech cities ( Pilsen , Brno, Olomouc and others) and in Bratislava . In Prague also guested on smaller stages (eg. In the year 1908 in Pištěková theater in 1914 in the Urania and intimate, theater . Between 1910 and 1929 she performed successfully in Vienna, in 1928 in Warsaw and in 1931 in Yugoslavia , where received the order of St. Sava.She was a teacher of actresses A. Sedláčková , L. Ostrčilová, E. Vrchlická , J. Kronbauerová , O. Scheinpflugová , M. Májová, B. Durasová, Z. Baldová , A. Iblová , M. Pačová , M. Wintrová-Bečvářová, J Holy and others.In 1931 she performed in a single film, in the role of Fanky in Čapek's "Robber" directed by Josef Kodíček .She died on 5th August 1931 in Podolské sanatorium .
