Description: Marblehead Pottery Bowl - Important Piece - Arthur Baggs Design Early important Marblehead bowl which is from a prominent upscale estate collection 1900 -1920's Glazed earthenware 4.25 "h × 7" across the top D. and 23 inches around the most bulbous portion of the vase (cir) The bowl is also heavy and is in great condition Among his exceptional creation, Baggs made a small collection of unique pieces which were done in a soft cream glaze This beautiful bowl listed has an etched relief of mythical figures surrounding the vase. Similar work of his is featured at the Metropolitan Museum.
