Marantz receiver Someone messed up the preamp board trying to repair it. Corrected issues with that. Repaired many cold soldered connections on various pc boards. Replaced 6 transistors, 2 diodes, 2 capacitors and 2 resistors in the preamp circuit. Replaced 2 transistors in one power amp circuit. Checked DC bias and offset. Adjusted DC offset on all 4 channels. Replaced 5 capacitors in the power supply circuit. Checked and adjusted 35v rail. Replaced 2 capacitors in the DC protect circuit. Replaced 6 transistors and 2 capacitors in the phono preamp circuit. Cleaned all controls and switches several times. Cleaned pc card edge connectors. Performed FM/MPX alignment to better than factory specs. FM Stereo THD 0.12%. Replaced missing RCA jumpers for the rear channels on the back panel. Tested both 2 channel and 4 channel modes.
