Description: This beautiful handmade vase/vessel is a one-of-a-kind piece of art pottery that will add a touch of style to any room. The multicolor pattern and mid-century modern style make it a unique and eye-catching addition to your collection. This beautiful, high-quality earth tone piece is approx 3 1/2" tall and approx 3 1/4" in diameter at its widest point. It was created by the well-known Maigon Daga (Maigonios Daga). He was born in Latvia in 1923 and immigrated to Australia in 1948. He attended the Adelaide School of Art, where he studied sculpture. He and his family relocated to America in 1964. In 1970, he opened his own studio in Minneapolis, according to my research. He is more widely known for his animal sculptures on granite bases. It is signed, numbered, and marked with the artist's name, Daga. The vase/vessel is made of clay and is an original piece. This decorative piece is perfect for displaying flowers (artificial recommended) or as a standalone piece. The production technique used is handmade, and it was made in the United States. Add this stunning art pottery vase/vessel to your collection today. There are a few small white specks on the body that appear to be in the glaze and not damage. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or flea bites.
