Description: My brother picked Magician's Quest Mysterious Times out of a Toys R Us $5 bargain bin. There were tons of copies; now they're worth 20 times that. My childhood was all about stuff. I was spoiled and had too many toys; I feel their weight today. Once, there was a super cool Pikachu DS charger at Toys R Us that my brother and I fought over. I won. I often won; neither of us should have won. I decided I didn't need it and announced this to my mom. My brother got it anyway. It defeated the point. My brother used to tell my mom she had to spend the same amount on him as she did on me. He used to have pictures of her credit cards on his phone. He bought anime box sets and figures; my family went bankrupt. Money scares me; objects stress me out This game is a MAGICAL Animal Crossing. You can fly on a broom, learn spells (which I wrote in a little notebook), and go to wizard school (I loved fake school). Plus, you could DATE in this game. I loved it so much. I wanted to be a witch when I was younger. I had spell books that I looked at but never used (how does one obtain Mogwart? Or charge something with the moon?). I like ideas more than reality Unlike other games at the time, it lacked any online guides or discussion, so it was one of the first games I faced alone. I loved guidance, so this was scary, but it gave me a taste of autonomy. Mysteries happened in the game, one with a gargoyle statue that came to life, and I solved it! All on my own! Wow! I am capable. I believe I had three boyfriends in this game. Wyatt, a horse, Tony, a deer, and Duke, a demon (I always considered him to be a vampire). I forgot I dated Tony, but I discovered his catchphrase is "baby." That's probably what made me fall for him. I hate being called baby in real life, but Tony can call me baby. I also don't remember if I broke up with one to be with the other. I'm usually the person who sticks to my first relationship in a video game. I think Wyatt was my last boyfriend. To romance them, you could cast the "Declare Love" incantation at "Lover's Point" at the top of the hour between late afternoon and early evening. I did this DAILY. For love! I think I deleted my save file. I liked resetting my life. But I regret it now.
