One of them contain a supplementary tribute to Mr. Peabody & another a Tribute to our [pleasant] associate, the late Admiral Farragut... “My most continuous work has been in connection with our old Historical Society & is incorporated into its...proceedings & its volumes of collections. “All this will show my way of life sufficiently... “Robert Winthrop” Winthrop was born into a prominent Boston political family, descended from colonial governors Thomas Dudley and John Winthrop.
