Description: This is a very unique item that was written by Mervin A. Albin himself, a Master Penman from the early 1900's. It is an essay that he wrote on New Year's Day in 1937, just 5 months before he passed away from a sudden stroke at the age of 58. Not only is it beautiful to look at but also contains some incredible words of wisdom to live your life by. There are also some of his famous bird flourishes on the piece, one of which was on the cover of an issue of The American Penman. As the great-granddaughter of MA Albin, I inherited all of his life's work. Included in these items were multiple copies of 'A Pleasing Personality', along with the original typed essay and original bird flourishes. He obviously had a local printer make dozens of copies of the piece, which measures 17" tall by 11" wide. Each copy is printed on beautiful amber colored parchment paper from back in the day. Important to note These are copies of his piece that were printed in 1937 and are as crisp and flat today as they were back then. Perfect for framing! The essay will be carefully rolled and will be shipped immediately upon payment in a mailer tube. If you would like a Letter of Authenticity to accompany your copy of 'A Pleasing Personality', please let me know. Monica A Albin Harmon
