Description: M.F. Christensen antique slag glass marble in an amber color with white swirls. It measures approximately 7/8". A back light shows it's opaque white swirls. It has a few small pinprick hits. No large chips, cracks, stains, or repairs. On the bottom are what looks like 2 polished off transitional crease pontil marks - I don't know how common that is, but it shows how marbles like this were polished off by hand with a machine. According to my reference this marble was made between 1904 - 1917. It would make a unique addition to anyone's marble collection. The round white spots and line marks to the left of them are my metal camera and it's flash reflections. You will receive the exact marble shown in my photos.It will be carefully packaged.
