Description: Luminox Atacama Field Automatic 1900 Series Watch XL.1903The Case: This Luminox Atacama Field Automatic Blue 1900 Series XL.1903 features a 44mm case that is made out of brushed stainless steel, which provides the watch with an elegantly rugged look. The case takes on a classic design and it is made up of a circular fixed bezel, a large screw down crown at 3 o’clock and short tapered lugs. Ultra-scratch resistant sapphire crystal provides the watch with optimum protection. It has been treated to an anti-reflective coating, which ensures that the dial always remains readable.The Dial: The dial is presented in a sunburst blue tone and it has a classic military aesthetic which is displayed through the 24-hour time format. The 12-hour scale is presented through silver baton style hour markers which form the outer dial, whilst the 24-hour scale is presented through small orange Arabic numerals which form the inner dial. The dial also has a two step design, with the inner dial housing the silver pencil style handset, which features LLT (Luminox Light Technology) which are tritium tubes which light up the dial in the dark. The second hand is stylised in a bright orange. Also present in the inner dial is a day-date display window at 3 o’clock and the Luminox shield logo at 12 o’clock. On the dial’s chapter ring there is a 60-minute scale. The Strap: The strap is presented in a NATO style and it is made out of nylon. It is stylised in a striking blue tone, which complements the dial. It fastens through the use of a standard buckle.The Functions: This timepiece is powered by automatic Sellita caliber SW220-1 movement which provides the watch with an accuracy of -10/+30 seconds per day and a power reserve life of 32 hours.
