Vertical lift upper chamber door & heavier gauge element wire with low watt density for longer element life. Shell - 12 gauge sheet steel welded and reinforced to withstand distortion from chamber heat. Upper Chamber - Max Temp 2300F Power Rating - 15KW Insulation - 2.5" hot face layer of 2300F insulating firebrick and 2.5" cold face layer of 1900F mineral wool for reduced thermal loss and lower outside shell temperature. Heating Elements - Heavy gauge coiled Kanthal Fe, Cr, Al wire fully supported in high temp cast monolithic holders providing uniform heat distribution. Designed with a low watt loading, which lowers the rate of alloy deterioration and extends wire life. Door - Manual handcrank counterweight vertical lift door, tight seal. Door Switch - A microswitch automatically shuts off power to heating elements when door is opened eliminating potential shock hazard. Heating elements are re-energized when door is closed. Thermocouple - 8 gauge open style Type K assembly mounted through rear wall or roof of chamber. Positioned near heating element coil for immediate sensing of chamber heat for accurate temperature reading. Lower Chamber - Max Temp - 1200F Power Rating - 11KW Fan & Motor - High CFM 304 stainless steel assembly driven by heavy duty motor. Circulates air over sidewall heating elements and back through center of work area. Door - Insulated horizontal swing with firm seal and microswitch to eliminate electric shock hazard. Thermocouple - 14 gauge open style Type K assembly mounted through back wall. Immediate and accurate temperature reading. Temperature Controls - Mounted in a separate NEMA 1 panel attached to right side of furnace. Forward facing for easy viewing and adjustment. 2 Eurotherm 3204 1/4 DIN temperature controller. 2 control switches, one per chamber. 1 fan switch for lower chamber. Located in Las Vegas, NV.
