Description: LSA International Cobalt Blue Sommerso Mouth Blown Square Tree Art Glass Vase Vintage This stunning sommerso style square tree vase is handcrafted and mouth blown in Poland. It is 5" tall, 1½" square at the bottom and then it fans out (like a tree) to 2¼” square at the top.The technique used to make this vase is called Sommerso, which in Italian literally means “submerged”. This technique is used to create several layers of glass (usually with different contrasting colors) inside a single object, giving the illusion of “immersed” colors that lay on top of each other without mixing. All measurements are approximateThis piece is in "as found" condition. I leave it to the buyer to clean and/or polish as they wish.
