Description: SKB 20g Field Butt Stock/Forend Set for a 505/585/685, 85TSS AND Weatherby Orion This is a matte/satin finish field butt stock & forend will fit an SKB 505, 585, 685, 85TSS, or Weatherby Orion Models made in Japan. This stock is fitted with the traditional black grip cap and a Pachmayr Butt Pad. This is new/old stock. The stock has no structural cracks or chips in the stock. The stock has a matte/satin finish with minor finish scratches, and other small indentations and/or scuff marks from shipping and storage. The 1995-1996 SKB catalog gives Field stock dimensions: Length of Pull (LOP): 14 1/8” Drop at Comb (DOC): 1 1/2” Drop at Heel (DAH): 2 3/16” This forend is in good condition with only very small surface scratches, scuffs and indentations from shipping and storage. We believe neither of the pieces have been installed on a gun. This stock and forend will require installation by a qualified gunsmith to ensure proper fit between the wood and metal piece to prevent cracking.
