One of the most famous fossils finds of the area Solnhofen was the discovery of the Archaeopteryx, Which essentially has the skeleton of a Dino, but covered in feathers. Not only is this deposit important because of the find of the Archaeopteryx. This deposit is amongst the most famous and well-known due to the taste diversity of preserved organisms, both plants, and animals.
