Description: THIS AUCTION IS FOR AN USED VINTAGE MAGAZINE WITH A FULL PAGE CARTOON MAP ON ITS BACK COVER TITLED "THE MARINER, MARINSHIP NEEDS YOU, 1944" SOFTCOVERS-STAPLED BINDING, 12 INCHES TALL, 8.75 INCHES WIDE AND HAS 12 PAGES INCLUDING THE COVERS.Pasted to a scrapbook page from the upper left corner of the back cover (you see the leftover scrapbook page at that corner at the sample pics,) a lightly peeled area right upper edge of the back cover, otherwise a clean item with a lovely cartoon map of the San Francisco Bay Area by Edward Camy. The map is on the back cover and 12 inches by 8.75 inches in size.From internet:Edward Camy was born in 1904 in Fresno, CA. He died in San Francisco in 1958 at the age of 54. Most of his life was spent as a graphic artist/illustrator in his San Francisco studio. Besides his illustrations for the Alaska Steamship line, he did illustrations for Santa Fe (illustrations of Passenger Trains) during the 1930's, 1940's. He also did artwork that appeared on highway billboards (the old Signal Gasoline) and magazine ads (such as Dole Pineapple).
