Description: Lot/4 Vintage Christmas Wall Decor Chalkware Snowman Bear Trees Miller Studio Click images to enlarge Description Charming lot of four vintage 1950's Christmas wall plaques designed and manufactured by the Miller Studio in the USA. They depict a polar bear wearing a red knitted stocking hat, a snowman with a corncob pipe, and two pine trees. All are equally cute! Made from a mold of chalkware or plaster, they are nicely hand painted in green, red, and white. They measure in height from 5" to 9" and are about 3/4" thick-the can of Coke is for a sizing reference. They are still in their original boxes that labels them as "Country Cut-Outs". On the edge of the red bow on the bear is a chip to the chalk that could be touched up with some red paint but other than that, they appear unused. The boxes show some wear from storage. Would be really cute in a child's bedroom. The box indicates they have hooks on the backside for hanging but I think they would stand on a mantel or shelf too.
