Description: Lot of 3 Vintage Faber-Castell Pencil Tins Click image to enlarge Description Lot of 3 vintage empty metal pencil tins "A.W. Faber Castell". (No pencils). These silver colored tins have hinged lids with green and red lettering, a green box with jousting knights on the left and green measuring scales to the left of the green letters. Imprinted in the metal is a trio of castles on the left and right of the red "Castell" lettering. Imprinted across the bottom are the words "A.W. FABER-CASTELL STEIN Bet NURNBERG Germany". The scale logo is imprinted to the left of the lettering. Green labels on the end say "9000 (F or H)" which indicates the pencil size. Please note that the pencils are not included. Each tin measures 7-1/4" Long x 2" high x 3/4" deep. They are in good vintage condition with clear lettering and graphics, but there is some rust/corrosion on the corners as well as some minor scratching and a few dents to the bottom-- all of which adds to the vintage charm, in my opinion.
