The twist is that this TV family is also a real-life family. · The Beverly Hillbillies—3 Episodes – 75 minutes. This comedic series was the ultimate rags to riches TV show that aired from 1962-1971. The Clampetts accidentally strike it rich when Jed shoots the ground and finds “black gold”. The family decides to move to Beverly Hills.
