Description: This is a lot of about 450 old postcards, from the 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s- both in color and black and white. Most are from Bulgaria, but there are also some from East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Turkey, Greece, and a few other places. About half of them have written stuff on the back, in Bulgarian. The topics are city landscapes, architecture, beaches, museums, cultural landmarks, etc. There are also a few Soviet Christmas Cards. A very curious collection, showing what life behind the iron curtain was like. (Or at least what was supposed to look like!) Questions, comments, and requests for more pictures are always welcome.
