Lot of 2 Vintage Round 1½ Qt Pyrex Casserole Bowls (BB-19) w/ Lids (683C)

Description: Estate Auction find. Up for sale is a Lot of 2 (two) Vintage Round 1½ Qt Pyrex Casserole Bowls w/Lids. The bottom of the oldest bowl reads (the following is round shaped and is read looking thru the bottom of the bowl) “023 1½ QT TRADE MARK BB-19 PYREX MADE IN USA OVENWARE”. The round shape indicates that this bowl was manufactured in the mid-1950s to 1960s. The other bowl has a square shaped marking (read by turning the bowl over) “023 1.5L PYREX FOR OVEN AND MICROWAVE NO STOVETOP OR BROILER CORNING NY USA 25”. The “NO BROILER” markings indicates that this bowl was manufactured post 1974. The two lids appear to be much newer and fit the bowls nicely. Each lid could be inverted and used as a pie plate. The markings are on the handles. One reads “PYREX” over 3 dots on one handle and “683 – C27” on the other handle. The other lid reads “PYREX” on one handle and “683C D-15” on the other handle. You will be getting both bowls and both lids – a Total of 4 (four) PYREX items. Condition is Preowned / Used. The Bowls are in Good Condition with lots of surface scratches and scuffing from usage – No cracks. And no chips that I was able to detect around the rims or handles. The lids are in Very Good condition with no cracks or chips that I could detect. Only some light surface scuffs/scratches from use.
