Description: Two vintage pliers--The Weed is known as the 50 cent Weed pliers commonly used as fence pliers. this tool is in excellent condition with a pat'd date of 1913 & 1915-Great fence pliers-tool has a galvanized metal look but not sure of the metal alloy or galvanizing for tools dating that far back--10" long--The Channellock pliers is model #410 and is one of the early pliers in the Channellock collection. It was most likely manufactured in Meadville, Pa. with a USA pat'd of 1953--9-1/2" long--The condition is also excellent-teeth in good condition and operates freely--Lots of photos for these two gems.
