The Product: A lot of ten new James brand magneto base plate oil seals for 1962-1969 Harley Davidson XL models, replacing OEM part #12023. Research: We received these through a buyout and all of the information we have on them is listed here. These are labeled as replacing Harley Davidson OEM part #12023 and fitting 1968-1969 XL Sportster models. We looked up this OEM part number on the VTwinMFG website which states this OEM part number fits 1962-1969 XL models. We believe the VTwinMFg website is correct since it is updated more frequently than the label; however we have no way to verify this and suggest you contact your local Harley Davidson dealer for additional application assistance.
