Description: Here are 5 adorable vintage Kewpie Dolls. I believe they are made of bisque ceramic. The first and largest Kewpie is a baby powder shaker. There are 4 holes on the top of his head to shake out baby powder. There is a plug on the bottom where you fill him. He is sitting and has a diaper on. He measures over 5 1/2 inches tall. The second and third Kewpies were made by Lefton and one is marked Japan. The second Kewpie is sitting and sucking his thumb. He measures 4 1/2 inches tall. The third Kewpie is laying on his tummy with his head up. He is pouting. He measures 4 1/2 inches long and 3 1/4 inches tall. The fourth Kewpie I believe was made by Norcrest. He is on his tummy with his head up. This little guy is crying and the tears are on his cheeks. He measures about 5 inches long and is just over 3 3/4 inches tall. The fifth Kewpie is the smallest and was made by Jesco. He is marked and dated 1994. He has a red winter wool scarf on his head and over his ears and tied at his neck. In the back, he is holding a bottle marked RX. All 5 Kewpies have sweet faces. They are all in excellent vintage condition. I see no chips or cracks.
