Description: (Note: I recently acquired a large selection of marbles.... dating back to the 1800s up to the 1950s. I am not an expert on marbles, but am doing my best to describe them for you. Sorry I am not familiar with all the terms, etc., because of a limited knowledge. If you have questions, please feel free to ask and I'll try to help. ------------------------------------ I believe this group of marbles are all vitro hybrid cats eye marbles. I posted lots of photos for you to view. Because I acquired so many marbles, I decided to list slowly list some small groups, and a few individually, and also keep some for a personal collection. I thought these 4 were interesting, and was told by a local collector they looked to be vitro hybrid cat's eye marbles. Each mesaure right at 5/8" diameter, or .625" Hopefully you will be able to verify this from the pictures...... I posted most closeup photos of the one which is farthest left in first photo.... the design is more complicated than that of the other 3 marbles. Marbles have no substantial chips, cracks, etc. They are from a larger collection of used marbles, and I see some scattered minor signs of use if using magnification.... not easily seen without magnification.
