Description: This is an antique bronze relief plaque of LONGFELLOW. It has a clear marking on the back from the foundry - "Abendroth Bros. NY". It is also signed by the artist under his collar, but it is very hard to get a picture of it. It is much clearer in person. When I examine it with my magnifier, it looks to me to read "G. Beck, Sc", but I am not certain. Overall, the placque measures about 11 1/2" high, 8 1/2" wide, and about 1" deep. It weighs about 3 pounds 4 ounces, so I'm estimating the shipping at 4 pounds 4 ounces. It is in excellent condition, and you can see at the very top point someone had drilled a hole into it. Perhaps for hanging ? I'm sure they could've figured out another way to hang it as opposed to drilling into that spot!!! Open to offers. I encourage you to read my ABOUT ME page by clicking HERE.
