Description: This rare Super 35 format extended set was selected from a number of base lenses having late ‘80’s early 1990 years of production and excellent optics. Those who are familiar with Russian lenses know how hard it is to find good copies. But once you do the look is ‘poetry.’ Check out insta posts by lens_addiction and DPs sharing recent work shot with Lomo Super Speeds. CKBK is an acronym for Центральное Конструкторское Бюро Kиноаппаратуры loosely translated as Central Construction Bureau of Cinema gear. And M in a model name stands for some special modifications. Very few S35 format JSC Optika sets were made in the early ‘90s. How I understand basically Ekran optics remaining from prior Soviet Union era were put into better Zeiss-like mechanics. And although size-wise and sharpness there’re similarities with Zeiss super speeds, the look overall is more nuanced more film like with less CA (in my opinion). Ekran and later models of high speed and super speed Russian lenses had better mechanics so I haven’t rehoused the wides. Rehousing is available through GL Optics who rehoused the rest of the set. Set includes CKBK10mm OKC6-10-1M T/3.2 JSC Optika Optar 14mm 35OKC3-14-1 T/1.6 Ekran 18mm 35OKC7-18-1 T1.6 Ekran 22mm 35OKC5-22-1 T/1.5 JSC Optika Optar 28mm 35OKC10-28-1 T/1.3 CKBK 35mm OKC12-35-1M T/1.5 CKBK 50mm 35OKC11-15-1M T/1.3 CKBK 75mm 35OKC14-75-1M T/1.5 Only known issue is a small chip on 18mm rear outside of the image circle.
