Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION: EX-LIBRARY/library binding, Doubleday, 1969, 1st edition (stated); library binding with orange-brown boards, ~8.5" x 5.5" x 0.8". In pretty good condition overall (especially for a former library book, all things considered), with a little fading to the spine, some expected minor shelf-wear to the edges and corners (bumping) and some occasional light soiling to a few of the pages (please see my pictures here), as well as library stamps, etc. The binding is solid and straight, unbroken, with no roll to the spine, no loose pages (that's New Method Book Bindery for ya!). Apart from the front free end-paper being torn out (to remove the card pocket), the pages are all present, unmarked, with a little age-toning, no dogears, and a small portion of the lower corner torn from pages 141/142. Overall, a decent vintage reading copy. From a non-smoking home. AND NOW FOR ALL THE BOILERPLATE (just so we’re clear on terms): My personal belief as a seller is that honesty is the best policy.
