Description: Loetz Alvin Art Nouveau Metallic Lemon Yellow Cytisus Glass Vase Silver Overlay: Up for bid is a Loetz Yellow Cytisus vase. It stands approximately 6.25” tall and is wrapped with an Alvin Silver overlay. The silver bears the Alvin hallmark, silver purity stamps, and what appears to 3 L’s or 7’s. The bottom is also etched with the number 47. I haven’t attempted to clean the vase, as most collectors prefer the original patina. The same style & color vase is currently for sale by an antique store for $10,000. Because this piece has some flaws, my reserve is much, much lower than that. I have done my best to show the cracking in the last 5 photos from different angles. Please enlarge and view all of the photos, as they are part of the description. Despite the issues, this vase still presents beautifully. I’m considering all reasonable offers!
