The cup is decorated with a hand painted scene of a man carrying something on a stick with a cottage and trees in the background framed in gold gilding. With gold gilding along the rim. The saucer has a hand painted scene of a man sitting in between some trees framed in gold gilding. Marked on the bottom with a blue crossed arrow / torch mark used by Jean-Baptiste Locre near Paris at La Courtille, France. Circa 1773 to 1824. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 3/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. HT
