Description: Lock Hardware & Supply Company was, according to their catalog cover, "the west's largest exclusive locksmith supply house" from Texas to Washington state. Located in Los Angeles at 815 E. Washington Blvd, me thinks that in the 1960's you could make any claim about the size of your business and others would be hard pressed to refute it. We do know that Lock Hardware was bought out by another Los Angeles-based wholesaler in 1969 - Robert Skeels & Company - which had been in business since 1921. Skeels was not known at that time as a locksmith supplier, but this gave them the foray into that side of the hardware business. This 3-post binder with custom catalog cover has 11 sections of offerings, many of them filled with catalog pages that look they were printed in the late 1950's. Also included within the sections are manufacturer catalog pages advertising their products. We have tried to show a general smattering of the catalog pages to give you a sense of what the catalog contains, but there are many, many pages.
