Description: Lledo Collectibles Diecast ModelsSt Kew Collection 2-Piece Set LP144-1003 - 1912 AEC "B" Type (Ole Bill) BusLP166-1004 - 1953 Land Rover (Canvas Back) 1:43 Scale Limited Edition - No. 41 of only 5,000 Jack Odell, one of the founders of the Matchbox diecast company, founded Lledo (Odell backwards) in 1982, and launched the "Days Gone" range of models in 1983, taking over a market previously popularised by the Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" series. Lledo went bankrupt in 1999, and the naming rights and model range were bought by rival diecast maker Corgi, which continued producing Lledo models in China until 2005, under the name "Lledo Collectibles Ltd." A major part of Lledo's business, both before and after the sale to Corgi, was the promotional market, where companies and organisations would commission editions of the models in their own liveries. This set of two models was issued in 2002, after Corgi had taken over production, as one of a number of models produced exclusively for St Kew Dairy Farm in Cornwall. This was a Limited Edition of just 5,000 models, and the set comes complete with a Certificate showing that this was No. 41. Excellent used condition. In original box and complete with Certificate. Box has minor storage wear and light creasing but no serious rips or splits and no taped-up corners. Models themselves are clean and near mint condition. See photos - all photos show actual item.
