Description: Lledo Promotors Diecast ModelSP85001 - 1912 Renault Van Fred Dibnah - Limited Edition - Rare Jack Odell, one of the founders of the Matchbox diecast company, founded Lledo (Odell backwards) in 1982, and launched the "Days Gone" range of models in 1983, serving a market previously popularised by the Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" series. The promotional market became Lledo's bread and butter, with companies and organisations ordering limited runs of the models with their own livery. Promotional models were catalogued seperately from the main "Days Gone" range, and often released under the brand name "Promotors". This model was made in 1997. Commissioned by Stewart Models, it is one of a limited edition of only 500 models, decorated in the livery of Fred Dibnah, Steeplejack. It comes complete with a uniquely numbered certificate, showing this is model No. 11. Excellent pre-owned condition in original box. Box is excellent, with no obvious wear and no rips, splits or creases. Model itself is clean and near mint condition, only having been taken out of box to photograph.
