These are beautiful established plants that are healthy and well maintained. Buyer will receive a plant similar to the one in the 2nd photo. It is a well established plant with a dense root system. Currently in a 2 gallon pot. This is one of the most ornamental Ficus species. Leaves are huge, rounded, ribbed, velvety and are bright red with new emerging leaves. As an adult, it is a large shrub to small tree, some up to 40 feet tall. Figs are edible too and they are truly beautiful, because they grow directly on the trunk with a velvety shine.Care:These plants require regular watering (approximately every 4 days indoors and 2-3 days apart outdoors). Fertilize them for best results. If the roots have become black or overly soft, the plant could be experiencing root rot. Cut away black or overly soft roots that may be experiencing root rot. Never allow the plant to stand in water.Keep in a bright spot but out of direct sunlight as this can scorch the leaves.A great plant for filtering toxins from the air.***Note: There may be slight markings and or imperfections with each individual plant.
