The handle Is premium Green Canvas micarta and the handle fills the hand beautifully with no hot spots for long periods of field craft. The blade has a steel sabre grind with a fine edge. The spine is not 90 degrees (my preference) and they have brilliantly added a flat spot on the pommel of the knife to strike a fire steel safely and you aren't forced to tear up your thumb on a sharp knife spine. In our opinion, the B40 is the ideal Bushcraft and camp blade.! Want the edge of your knife to be optimized and The best it can be?
