Description: This auction is for a Lionel Postwar outfit 1639WS “Six car power house special steam freight set”. This set is from my personal collection. Very tough to find complete and in condition and scarce cars included in this set. The set includes the 2037 steam locomotive with 243W tender, 6816 flat car with bulldozer, 6817 flat car with scraper, 6530 firefighting instruction car, 6560-26 Bucyrus crane car, 6812 track maintenance car and 6119-100 work caboose. The trains are all in EX condition. Loco and tender EX. The bulldozer has one broken piston. Otherwise very nice. The bulldozer, scraper and firefighting car are all very desirable cars in this set. The boxes are equally tough for the 6816/6817 and 6530 . All but one of these boxes have the perforated window thumb punch-out and are often missing pieces or punched out. Please inspect boxes carefully. The range from EX+ to VG. All have tuck flaps but there a few tape repairs. The 6560-25 crane car box is rough as usual but complete. The set box has tape repairs but is complete. Original operators manual includes and an envelope containing a #90 controller, lockon and two wires, Very tough set in any condition and this one is very nice overall. Its not perfect.
