Description: Unusual 1960’s Plastic shell on metal frame tender with plastic Lionel AAR trucks. Tender has a Like New reproduction black plastic shell with heat-stamped extended PENNSYLVANIA lettering. It has complete steps, shows only minor wear from years of storage, bright lettering. An original 234W tender lettered Pennsylvania could come with a 1960’s 2029 loco, and this tender would add a 200 buck premium to the loco. This tender has no whistle, has whistle mounts, but never had one installed, has copper ground contacts, no plunger for auto coupler and front screw is missing. Note that it has a “built by” plate without Lionel. Sold as is, as is, as described, as shown, rare late postwar tender. Not original Lionel, but would look great with any 2037, 2029 etc size loco, tender only in listing. All Items, including N.O.S. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles.
