Description: Linda Potter is an artist from southern California, and she now resides in Tucson, Arizona. She has taught in San Diego for the Decorative Artist Guild PHP and she owned her own studio there before retiring to Arizona. Her works are shown in galleries in California and Arizona. Potter describes her style as "Realism" and her process is "to start with a live set-up and then take a picture to finish the painting." This original 20"x16" painting of a bottle and glass of wine with a bowl overflowing with grapes has a very "old world" feel to it. Potter was probably drawing from Old World masters of Realism in creating this piece. She has made a very successful realistic and lifelike rendition of a traditional subject matter.
