Description: Up for sale is a fantastic limited edition, original print by Yankel Ginzburg. This brilliantly colored print is created on fine hand-made Japanese rice paper and uses the unusual combination of the ancient art forms of seriograph and wood-cut - considered the epitome of graphic art. The print was limited to 250 impressions, each impression personally selected, hand-numbered and signed by Ginzburg; after which the plates were destroyed, so that no duplications can ever be made. This print is titled "THE VILLAGE" and is 142/250. Yankel Ginzburg was born Yuri Zhukov in 1945 in Alma-Ata, capital of the Kazakhstan Republic near the Chinese border. In 1972, as Ginzburg's fame and popularity widened he held one-man exhibitions in Washington, DC, New York City, and Paris. It is professionally framed in a gold metal frame that measures approximately 16" x 20". There are some nicks, scratches and dings on the frame. There is a hanger on the back and it is ready to be hung in any living space. The print itself is approximately 12 1/2" x 16". Overall, it is in Very Good Condition. It has not been examined outside of the glassed frame, but I do not see any issues with it. I have included a copy of the Letter of Authenticity and the receipt, but they are not included in this sale. As I need it for proof for listing, as it covers 6 different prints. A copy will be included upon request. It is an excellent investment and a superb example of this great artist's work - a perfect piece for any collector! Other dings here and there. Please note shipping charges. Please email with questions and see my store for other great items.
